BARE Cares: Staying Connected Amongst COVID-19
As a global company, we have been closely monitoring and actively handling the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic since late January, when our BARE China office was impacted. While the world continues to work through the unknowns together, we remain open and available to consult on various topics related to business needs and progression from our known and current expertise.
We believe that, with our client partners and the independent contractors who make up our field force, we have built a community together and one that we look out for and protect to the best of our abilities. Due to the current and rising concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, BARE International is providing this update on our current BARE Business Continuity Plan.
In order to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure employee safety, BARE has issued work and travel guidelines to its employees across all BARE offices. These guidelines include, but are not limited to: prohibiting all work-required international travel, strict restrictions to client-requested and necessary domestic travel, as well as in-office protocol.
As of March 13, 2020, we have asked staff across all BARE offices to work from home. All BARE employees have been given access, capability, and authority to complete all internal and client-related tasks remotely, unless otherwise deemed unlawful by the direction of a government mandate for that country. We will be revisiting this policy weekly as we monitor the situation and follow the government direction.
Additionally, we are asking our employees, partners, and clients:
- Conduct meetings remotely via phone, web and/or video rather than in-person at a client or BARE location.
- Postpone non-required travel, international and domestic.
- Adhere to the strictest hygiene and illness prevention procedures, as recommended by the CDC.
We have implemented travel guidelines to all BARE employees, including work from home mandates, ceasing international travel, and restrictions on domestic travel.
Therefore, we encourage you to reach out to us via video conferencing, phone calls, and emails. We are available to work through these unprecedented times together. While we adhere to physical social distancing, there is strength in teamwork and collaboration, especially now.
We are a community, and we can be a resource for your teams and stakeholders. We’re available to consult on various topics related to business needs and progression from our known and current expertise. Please reach out: to brainstorm, to discover solutions, or even just to talk. We’re here.
And we’re closing the gap on social distancing.
Sincerely,
BARE International
